Lumpy Clay Here.

Hello Friends!  It's just us lumpy pieces of clay here!  Meet Papa Lump, Mama Lump, and the five OompaLumps.  Once upon a time I had a blog, which I recently rediscovered on my computer.  My children and I read and laughed and remembered the good times; and we read and thought and pondered the sadder posts.  That trip down memory lane was very enjoyable.  We remembered details that were hiding in tiny locked boxes in our memory. Who knows if we could have opened those treasure chests without the key which journaling provided? Then I wondered, why did I stop?  Why not give ourselves the opportunity to look back and see how God has carried our family through all seasons of hope and sadness, joy and longing.  Why not give ourselves the chance to remember our unique and sometimes plain old crazy family moments!  I wondered how many moments will be lost if I don't pick up the e-pen again, so that we may once again read, and ponder, and remember how God is ever present in shaping and molding us.  I pray that this blog is not just a place for journaling family moments, but a testimony of God's faithfulness to his imperfect vessels, which he remolds and reshapes with loving hands.
I pray that I never try to be the Potter!  Always the Clay.
